This Korean Skincare Brand Completely Changed My Skin

As you know, I just returned from spending a month and a half in Asia.  Aside from visiting my family (who live as expats in Singapore), I made it my sole mission to uncover as many Asian beauty secrets as possible.  That resulted in many sessions of Chinese Reflexology, Korean Blowouts and more.  Upon one of my discoveries was Korean Beauty and Skincare line, Laneige.  I happened to be in a department store seeking out Japanese beauty products (none of which I could understand, but they had such fun packaging, it was hard to resist) – when I noticed Laneige next door.  The woman there asked me what I was looking for and I flat out said “I want glowing skin, make me look like a China Doll…please.” Asians are known to have such beautiful, porcelain complexions, which is why the K-beauty segment has been blowing up lately. Here’s what I’ve been using:

The Routine:
I use the Brightening Cleansing Water to take off makeup, followed by the Milky Cleanser, morning and night. I then put on the Water Sleeping Mask before bed each night. Just the fact that it is called a Water Sleeping Mask sounds so cozy and yummy. I always look forward to applying it. All Laneige products smell wonderful! I’ve even gotten my husband to use their men’s line.

The Results:
This past weekend, I went to visit my facialist. I normally go every 4 weeks, but hadn’t gone since before I went to Asia, so about 2 months. I was wondering why she was barely doing any extractions. Leading up to my wedding, she was dealing with clogged pores around my forehead and chin. But this visit, she said my skin looked great, had very small pores and whatever I was doing, to keep doing it. At first I didn’t like hearing this, because I was expecting a full extraction. I like to get my money’s worth! So, I insisted she find some black heads and extract them, but in the end, I succumbed to the fact that this skincare brand actually did what it said it would.
